Access
At the Aosta Ovest motorway junction , turn right and take the regional road towards the Cogne Valley. Drive through the village of Aymavilles and, after 1.5 kilometres, take the second exit at the roundabout. Continue along the regional road for a further 4.1 kilometres until you reach the junction for Ozein. Turn left onto the local road, which, after 4.9 kilometres, leads to the village of Ozein. There is a small free car park 🅿️ in front of the chapel.

The route, accessible to all, is perfect for anyone wishing to spend a peaceful day in the open air, far from the tourist hustle and bustle, and discover the authentic, unspoilt beauty of these places.
Description
[0h00’T1] 0.00km From the car park, head to the right of the Ozein chapel, walk past the building and turn left. A short descent takes you to a signpost.
0h01' 0.05km Turn right and follow a small tarmac road through the village. Pass the houses in Posse and walk up a short stretch of steep road before turning left, leaving the road, and taking a grassy path. Pass close to a dilapidated building, turn right and then, at a lamppost, turn left. Continue across the pasture, enjoying beautiful views of Grivola, Mont Blanc and the mountains surrounding Aosta. Following the gentle curve of the slope to the right, you’ll reach the edge of the woodland. The path becomes more distinct and leads into the woodland, initially consisting of larch (Larix decidua) and birch (Betula pendula) then spruce (Abies picea) and silver fir (Abies alba). The path continues halfway up the hillside, climbing gently, with a slight increase in gradient just before reaching a new signpost.
[0h25’T1] 1.52km Turn left onto the local road to Turlin and follow it slightly uphill; the path then levels out and leads to the charming, scattered village of Turlin-Dessus (1557m) [0h55’T1] 3.04km .
The return journey follows the same route taken on the ascent [0h45’T2] 3.03 km .
