Introduction

 Laghetto lies at the foot of the Adula (Rheinwaldhorn), the highest mountain at least partially in Ticino. Delimited by the Laghetto pass, it lies in a small basin. Access routes: 1) From the Malvaglia valley: Cusié, Alpe Quarnei (with the hut of the same name), Laghetto pass. 2) From the Luzzone dam (Blenio valley): Val Carassina, Adula SAC hut, Adula UTOE hut, Laghetto pass. The Laghetto pass is a gully with approx. 70° inclination, landslide material, with stream. Catalogued T3, it requires the use of hands. The waters, descending towards Alpe Quarnei, form a beautiful waterfall.
