Cerian Chapel
Introduction
The village of Cerian is characterised by agro-pastoral activities that have remained alive, representing a pillar of the local economy. These aspects are still witnessed today by the presence of an old bakery combined with a dairy and a small chapel where the villagers used to commend their fields to God. This small sacred building, dedicated to Saint Grato and Saint Lucia, was founded at the behest of the villagers, who self-taxed to pay for its construction and maintenance.
Description
The images of the Immaculate Conception and two saints stand out on the façade. Of particular note is the portion of the projecting roof that is painted blue.
