Introduction
An interesting Roman vestige is located in Donnas: the arch carved into the rock along the Via Consolare delle Gallie. This road was built in the 1st century BC to connect Rome with the Rhone Valley. The road in the Donnas section was carved into the rock and the arch remains an important historical vestige.
