Easy and well-trodden route, also suitable for beginners approaching this type of hiking for the first time.

Description

From the left of the Posta bar, go up towards the start of the anchors and, skirting them on the right, after a few metres you will reach the track of a track with clear snowmobile tracks. Pass under a small bridge used for the passage of the ski lifts, climb up a few hairpin bends in the wood and in a few minutes you will come to the houses of the village of Rotwald; cross it and, still following the little road, you will come to the ski slope, which you skirt for a short distance on the right and then cross it and take the continuation of the evident track that continues halfway up the slope on the left. Continuing on a moderate incline, you come to the pretty village of Wasenalp: cross this too, passing the little church and, after passing a fork with a track branching off to the right, continue on the little road that leads into the increasingly sparse forest. After a few slightly uphill curves, you cross a small bridge over a stream and arrive at the Wintrigmatte huts. We pass the few houses and head, walking halfway up the hillside, northwards into the forest, where the path forks near a rather unusual votive shrine. Continue slightly downhill to the left and you will soon reach the scenic Honegga alpine pasture, which is located on a balcony overlooking the peaks and valley floor of the Valais from west to north.
