Palon de Resy

Description

Follow the cross-country road, which climbs in several hairpin bends towards Pian di Verra. Just before entering the plain, cross over to the right between the larches (Resy signpost) . Continue along the summer path, pass a wooded rib, descend slightly and cross over a rock jump. Before reaching Resy, go up into the forest on the left to reach the rib and walk along it between the larches until you come out. From this point, the upper part of the route is visible. The rib becomes steeper and it is necessary to go left or right over a section with grass and overhanging rocks: if the snow is stable, it is advisable to go right; with more unstable snow, it is better to keep to the left. Once past this steeper section, you reach a shoulder: continuing along the ridge, move to the right and walking along a flatter path, reach the summit cross.
