Green Lake, from the Valentino hut

Access

From San Valentino alla Muta in the upper Vinschgau valley, the gondola takes you up to Malga San Valentino at 2140 m.

Introduction

Easy hike that allows you to gain an enviable position on the valley floor below with the Resia and San Valentino alla Muta lakes, as well as an isolated alpine lake.

Description

From the lift, turn left uphill, following the Sat symbols that recover metres, with the view in retrospect of Lake Resia and the bell tower of Curon. Continuing to climb, you reach a flatter section after which there is the water mirror. It takes about 1h30 to reach the Green Lake at 2440m. A little further on you can see the Oberdorfer Alm further down.
You return in 1h by the same route as on the way up.

All in all: day disl 300 mt Dif. T/E for about 2h30 Tot. (1h30 and. 30' around the lake and 1h. ret.) + all the breaks to see the various places you come across
