From the Stoppani Refuge to the Vallesinella Refuge
Access
Drive up to the Carlo Magno Pass after Madonna di Campiglio
.Introduction
The ascent to altitude is facilitated by the lift up to the Stoppani Refuge
.Description
The traverse is relatively simple and spectacular (therefore always very crowded, with times therefore slower than normal...). The route is scenic with several ups and downs and passes several towers up to the Rifugio Tuckett 2272 m, where we stop for lunch. From there we lose altitude directly down into the valley first in the sparse flora of high altitude ... and then into the woods, passing by the Rifugio Casinei to finally descend to Vallessinella 1519 m where we take the shuttle bus to Campiglio.
In summary: discreet day's climb uphill 300 m (-1200 m) Dif. T/E for approx. 3h30 Tot. (1h45 and 1h45rit.) + all the breaks to see the various places you come across
