Access

Introduction

From the Lorenzi Mountain Hut (2,932 m) near Forcella Staunies, the Ivano Dibona via ferrata towards Ospitale sets off, as do the Marino Bianchi via ferrata (Cima di Mezzo del Cristallo, 3,154 m) and the Renè De Pol via ferrata. The Lorenzi Mountain Hut can be reached via a footpath from the Son Forca Mountain Hut. Alternatively, near the Rio Gere restaurant (Dolomites Road 48, towards the Tre Croci Pass), a chairlift takes you to the Son Forca mountain hut and a cable car to the Lorenzi mountain hut. These services also operate during the winter skiing season.
